I love Recycled Crafts and colorful Easter eggs, so I can’t tell you how excited I am to share with you our Stained Glass Easter Egg craft that we made this weekend using plastic milk jugs. They don’t take long to make (my kind of craft), and they look beautiful hanging in our window. The colors of our eggs brighten up our room when the sun hits them right.

Supplies:
Empty and cleaned plastic milk jugs
Permanent markers
Egg stencil (I made a large stencil and a small stencil out of cardstock)
Scissors
Tape
Fishing line/string

Directions:

1.  Use the egg stencil to trace as many eggs as possible on the flat surfaces of the milk carton. I was able to fit 9 eggs on each jug. Carefully cut them out. The hardest part was cutting through the mouth of the jug, once the scissors were through it was easy cutting.

2.  Use the permanent markers to decorate the eggs. The marker will be a little sticky until it dries.

3.  Cut a piece of fishing line and tape the eggs to it, then hang up your decoration.
